BAC Decides To Hold Monsoon Session Of Assembly For Three Days Without BJP

Hyderabad, Aug 3 (Maxim News):  The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting was held under the chairmanship of speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy without inviting the BJP members to the meeting.  the ruling BRS representatives along with the Congress and AIMIM have decided to hold the Monsoon Session of the Assembly for three days. 

On behalf of the ruling BRS party, Ministers T. Harish Rao and Vemula Prashanth Reddy,  from Congress party Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and from AIMIM Akbaruddin Owaisi participated in the discussions and claimed that the meeting focused on the conduct of assembly meetings and discussed several important issues. 

One of the outcomes of the BAC meeting was the decision to extend the Assembly session for three days, the Congress and AIMIM representatives want more days of the session, but Minister Harish Rao suggested that the focus should be on the working hours rather than the number of working days.  This indicates the importance of productivity during the Assembly sessions.   

These three parties BRS, Congress, and AIMIM have decided to discuss heavy rains, floods, and the government’s measures to address these challenges.  To address various legislative matters, the government is planning to introduce around ten bills during this session.  the discussion on floods is scheduled for Friday, and on Saturday, various bills will take center stage.  (Maxim News)
