Governor Orders To Give Report Within 2 Days On Gang Rape Of Teenage Girl

Hyderabad, Aug 22 (Maxim News): Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundara Rajan has inquired about the gang-rape of a 16-year-old girl by three persons in Nandanavanam Colony under Mirpet Police Station.

Expressing shock over this incident, the governor ordered the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, and Rachakonda Commissioner of Police to give a detailed report within 48 hours. The Governor ordered the representatives of the Red Cross Society Rangareddy district branch to immediately go to the victim’s residence and provide necessary assistance to her family.

A 16-year-old SC girl was gang-raped by three under the influence of ganja. According to the police and the victim’s family members, the girl (16) from Hyderabad’s Lal Bazar came to a colony in Mirpet 15 days ago with her brother (14) as both her parents had died earlier. she is taking shelter with her elder sister, a close relative. The girl works in a garment shop in Dilsukhnagar. The younger brother works as a flexi maker.

At around 9 am on Monday, when the girl was in the house with her brother and three other children, the eight accused barged into the house at once. Four of the group, who were already under the influence of ganja, stabbed the girl in the neck. She was taken to the third floor of the building. The others threatened her younger brother and the children present there. Three of the accused who came up threatened the girl with a knife and raped her one after the other. Relatives of the girl said that the girl screamed loudly and run away. (Maxim News)
