Massive Duplicates Votes In Hyderabad?

Hyderabad, Oct 21 (Maxim News):  a large number of duplicate votes are coming to light in the final voter list announced by the Election Commission.  The Political parties are angry that the votes of the deceased have been continued as it is.

Congress and BJP recently brought this issue to the attention of the Central Election Commission.  the votes of 2.60 lakh people who died in the Greater Hyderabad area were deleted.  However, the parties say that there are up to one lakh votes of deceased persons in the lists here.  The political parties have complained that there is no record of the authorities taking care of the matter of deleting the vote in the old residence for those who have changed their constituency and registered their vote elsewhere.

With this, the authorities have decided to remove it once again as per the rules.  It is being expressed that the officials have removed the votes based on the death certificates issued by the local bodies without examining the voter list at the field level in each constituency. As many as 25,000 duplicate votes have been found in 15 Assembly Constituencies of Hyderabad district alone.  Officials estimate that the majority of them will be those who have voted in two constituencies.  The Central Election Commission has identified the details of more than one vote with the same photo in the same constituency through special software.  About 22 lakh votes were deleted in the state.

The Election Commission announced the final voter list on the 4th of this month.  since there was no possibility of deleting the duplicate voter identified after that, it was decided to prepare a list with a ‘deleted’ stamp on the respective names using special software.  Voter registration is available till October 31.  The officials will prepare the list of voters on November 10 after giving the right to vote to those who are eligible in the applications received till then.  The details of dead and duplicate votes will be entered in the list with deleted stamps.
