Congress President Revanth Reddy to Challenge CM KCR in Kamareddy

Congress | Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 26 (Maxim News): TPCC President, Revanth Reddy has revealed that he is ready to contest against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in Kamareddy if the party high command orders.

Both Reventh Reddy and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka said that they will contest against KCR if the party orders.

Speaking to media persons, along with MP Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader in Delhi, we are ready to defeat KCR and KTR. Invite KCR to contest from Kodangal. If KCR does not come to contest in Kadangal, I am ready to contest in Kamareddy, he said, the people never gave Hung a chance in joint Andhra Pradesh. Hung never came to Telangana earlier. He expressed confidence that the Congress would come to power with a two-thirds majority.

The Congress leaders accused the BRS leaders of violating the election rules. He said that he had complained to the Central Election Commission about the violation of the rules. ‘We have complained to the Election authorities about the transfer of welfare scheme money. We have asked to transfer the officials who are working as party workers. We have appealed to appoint officers who act impartially. They are using it like a private army to harass the opposition by giving posts to retired officers. We have demanded the immediate dismissal of the retired officers.

We have complained to the Election Commission against the retired officers. A private army was appointed with government salaries. They are attacking Congress leaders with the new army and filing cases. Some IAS officers have been handling key departments for 7-8 years.

Jayesh Ranjan, Arvind Kumar and Somesh Kumar are managing key departments. The Congress leaders alleged that they are putting pressure on the businessmen to give election funds to BRS. (Maxim News)
