Schedule For MLC By-Polls Under MLA Quota Released

Hyderabad, Jan 4 (Maxim News): The schedule for the By-election to two MLC seats under the MLA quota in Telangana has been released by the Election Commission of India today.

It may be recalled that Kadiam Srihari and Padi Kaushik Reddy were elected MLAs in the recently held assembly elections. Both of them resigned from the posts of MLC. The election schedule for these two seats was released by the Central Election Commission on Thursday.

According to the schedule, Notification will be issued on January 11, last date for filing nominations is January 18, scrutiny of nominations on January 19, last date for withdrawal of nominations is January 22. The polling if necessary and counting of votes on January 29. (Maxim News)
