Telangana: New Ration Cards To Be Issued Soon

Hyderabad, Jan 8 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that the Telangana Congress government has adopted Ration Cards as standard for the selection of beneficiaries of the welfare schemes along with six guarantees. It seems that the government intends to distribute the new ration cards as soon as possible to provide the schemes to the beneficiaries.

It seems that the government is thinking of completing the examination of the applications received for new ration cards by the end of this month and selecting the eligible ones given the possibility of the Lok Sabha election Code, it is reported that Revanth Sarkar has set a target of providing new ration cards by Shivaratri. If everything goes as planned, and talks are being held with the authorities in this regard.

In the recently received Praja Palana program, a total of 1,25,84,383 applications have been received. Of these, there are 1,05,91,636 applications related to five guarantees, 19,92,747 received in respect of ration cards and other requests. Remarkably, the number of people who have applied for ration cards is more than five guarantees.

Chief Minister also suggested that those who are unable to submit applications should submit them to the Panchayat Secretary of the village or Mandal Parishad office. Revanth Reddy clarified that there is no deadline for this program and this process will continue.  (Maxim News)
