On Monday, she took matters into her own hands, holding a public hearing at the LB Nagar office and promising action within a week for anyone facing problems in the city.

Starting right away, Mayor Vijayalakshmi launched a public radio program where you can call in and talk about your troubles like leaky pipes, broken roads, or even those pesky mosquitoes. Think of it as a giant community hotline – reach out, and they’ll listen!

Construction Chaos? Not Anymore! Got illegal buildings popping up like mushrooms in your neighborhood? The Mayor’s got your back on that too. She’s instructed officials to crack down on such constructions and make sure everyone plays by the rules.

Clean City, Happy City! Sanitation got you down? Mayor Vijayalakshmi wants a garbage-free Hyderabad, especially in slum areas. She’s focusing on keeping those mosquitoes away and making sure streets are spotless.
