FDP on Research Trends in Computer Science begins at MANUU

Hyderabad: The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (CS&IT), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing a Faculty Development Program on “Emerging Research Trends in Computer Science”  from 16th to 20th January 2024.

Speaking in the inaugural function held yesterday, Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean, School of Technology explained the importance of research in the academic growth of any institution. Prof Pradeep Kumar, Head, Department of CS & IT briefed about the Department and the research activities.

The program aims to provide the faculty with valuable insights into the latest advancements, methodologies, and interdisciplinary collaborations shaping contemporary computer science research. Through engaging workshops, expert-led discussions, and hands-on sessions, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge topics, fostering a culture of continuous learning within our academic community.

Dr. Syed Imtiyaz Hassan, Associate Professor, proposed vote of thanks. Mr. Mohatesham Pasha Quadri, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the programme explained about the overview of the FDP. Ms. Khaleda Afroaz, Assistant Professor was the Programme Convener.
