Employees Tortured in Hyderabad: 8 Held, More Still at Large

Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Maxim News): After seven former employees, including two women, were brutalized in a horrifying incident, Hyderabad is in shock.

The victims claimed that their previous employer and his associates had been captured, tortured, and stolen from them after they had quit their jobs at a local company to explore other prospects.

Along with others, Rishita, Madhumita, Saitarun, Venu, Nitin, Yogi, and Obaid had quit their prior jobs to work for a new company.

However, according to reports, their previous employer Harideep Reddy declined to provide them with their last month’s salary. They encountered a terrifying turn of events when they asked about it on February 12.

Harideep Reddy and his collaborators are said to have planned the unlawful apprehension of the seven people.

After that, they were brought to a remote area and treated horribly. Throughout the afternoon and into the evening, the victims suffered physical abuse from wires and sticks, threats, and loss of dignity. The brutality did not spare even the young ladies.

The victims bravely reported the incident to the authorities the same day, despite their distress. Nevertheless, there were delays in registering the case despite their early pleadings.

They mounted a protest outside the Medipally police station, demanding quick action because they were frustrated by the lack of reaction. Only after a public outcry and a rally by local organizations did the police eventually file a case on February 13.

In response to the public uproar, eight people have been detained and placed under arrest for this horrible act.

Harideep Reddy and the others, meanwhile, are still at large. They are being vigorously sought for by law enforcement, and an investigation is underway.

Demanding justice for the victims‘ suffering, the community is united in support of them. Everyone is waiting for the authorities to act decisively and quickly as the inquiry progresses, holding those responsible for this atrocity accountable and establishing a firm precedent against it.
