Revanth, Bhatti, To Delhi To Finalize The Candidates For Remaining 8 LS Seats In Telangana

Hyderabad, March 27 (Maxim News): As the Lok Sabha elections are approaching, the Congress election Committee will hold a crucial meeting to finalize the selection of candidates. Strategies to be adopted in the Lok Sabha elections and selection of candidates for pending seats will be discussed in the meeting today at 6 pm at the AICC head office, a meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Party Chief Mallikarjun Kharge.

Congress leaders Sonia, Rahul, and KC Venugopal will attend the meeting.  PCC Chief, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy from Telangana will attend the CEC meeting.  Candidates for 8 more seats in the state have to be finalized.  Out of a total of 17 seats, candidates have been declared in 9 places in two phases so far.

Candidates have a chance to finalize the pending seats of Khammam, Bhuvanagiri, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Medak, Warangal, and Hyderabad.  The High command is trying to reach a consensus on the selection of candidates in Khammam and Bhuvanagiri among the pending ones.  As there were more aspirants in these two places, there was a debate over who should be given the ticket.
