Cyberabad Police Seized Rs. 3.16 Crore Cash, Gold, and Silver During Pre-Election Vehicle Checks
Hyderabad, May 8 (Maxim News): In the lead-up to the upcoming Parliament Elections, the Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) Police conducted vehicle checks, resulting in the seizure of Rs. 3.16 crore worth of cash, gold, and silver.

Multiple Cases of Unaccounted Cash and Precious Metals:
A joint operation by SOT Balanagar and Bachupally Police led to the seizure of two scooters (TS 09 EN 3522 & TS 08 GL 1767) carrying Rs. 22 lakh in unaccounted cash. An investigation is underway to identify the source of the money.

In another case, SOT Medchal and Medchal Police intercepted a SISCO Safe Guard vehicle (TG10T0254) transporting five sealed boxes containing Rs. 24,91,700/- without a QR code or Election Commission of India (ECI) approval. The case is under investigation.
In a third case, SOT Balanagar and Kukatpally Police stopped a Radiant Logistics vehicle (TS 11UD 2560) near the South Indian Shopping Mall. The vehicle was carrying Rs. 2,63,845/- without the required QR code or ECI permission. Kukatpally Police are investigating.

In the fourth case, The most significant seizure occurred today when SOT Balanagar and Kukatpally Police intercepted a PB 65 AZ 6739 vehicle belonging to BVC Logistics. The vehicle was found to be transporting 4 kg of gold (worth Rs. 2,64,00,000/-) and 4 kg of silver (worth Rs. 2,80,000/-), all without proper documentation and permissions.
The total value of the seized items is Rs. 2,66,80,000/-. Kukatpally Police are investigating this case further. (Maxim News)
