GWMC Council Approved Annual Budeget – 2024-25 Of Rs. 650 Crores

Warangal/Hyderabad, June 20 (Maxim News): Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) Council approved the annual budget 2024-25 of the corporation prepared with an estimate of Rs. 650 crores.

The ruckus started at the beginning of the meeting, ruling party MLAs Nyani Rajender Reddy, Nagaraju, Revulu Prakash Reddy, BRS MLC Basavaraj Saraiay and Pochampally Srinivas Reddy attended the meeting, the budget was presented under the chairmanship of Mayor gundu Sudharani amidst the slogans of Congress and BRS corporators.

BRS and BJP corporators went to the mayor’s podium.  The corporators shouted slogans from both groups of leaders.  Amid slogans, the council meeting approved the budget for the financial year 2024-25.  The corporation approved the budget prepared with an estimate of Rs. 650 crores.

Gundu Suharani from BRS recently joined Congress.  With this, members of BRS and BJP are trying to remove Sudharani from the seat of mayor.  The BRS corporators have already met the commission district collectors to remove him from the post of mayor. (Maxim News)
