Corrupt Officers Caught By ACB: Revenue Inspectors Galeez Dhanda!

Hyderabad, June 22 (Maxim News): Two corrupt officers from the Medchal and Zaheerabad areas of Telangana have been caught by ACB. One was caught with a bribe of Rs. 5 lakhs and another was booked with a bribe of Rs. 70,000.

According to the details of the cases, a man approached Inspector of Police Akula Venkatesham for development work on his land in the Suraram area of Medchal district and demanded a bribe of Rs. 5 lakhs. As a part of that, Anisha was caught by the authorities taking a bribe of Rs. one lakh as the first installment. Moreover, it is said that earlier this inspector had taken a bribe of Rs. 2 lakh for not registering a rowdy sheet against the same person.

Also, Sangam Durgaiah, Revenue Inspector of Tehsildar Office of Nyalkal Mandal of Sangareddy District was caught taking bribes. When a farmer demanded a bribe of Rs. 70,000 in return for processing a check related to land acquired by the government for the National Investment & Manufacturing Zone in Zaheerabad, the farmer approached the ACB.  (Maxim News)
