10-Yr-Old Girl Pregnant After Kidnapped and Raped by 10 Men in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 10-year-old girl was kidnapped by a group of men in Hyderabad and forced to consume drug-laden drinks before she was gang-raped, police said. The incident led her to become pregnant and ten people were arrested in connection with the crime.

The accused were identified as Chakkolu Naresh (26), a car driver, Siripanga Vijay Kumar (23), an ACPC worker, Vagmare Balaji (23), a labourer, Guddanti Krishna (22), a municipal worker, Thonte Kiran Kumar (26), a tiffin center worker, Bollepogu Ajay (23), a delivery boy, James Xavier (24), water can supplier, Vagmare Deepak (25), a labourer, Sabavath Hathya Naik (25), a house cleaner and Injamuri Madhu (30), a tea master.

The victim was kidnapped on June 25 from the city’s Kachiguda area by Naresh and Vijay Kumar, who befriended her through a common friend. They involved others in the crime assaulted the minor several times and forced her to consume drug-laden drinks.

After that, the men committed the crime, leading her to become pregnant, police said.

Police seized mobile phones, vehicles, including scooters motorcycles, and SIM cards. All the accused, arrested on June 29, have a history of criminal activities and drug abuse.

The accused were presented in court the next day and sent to custody.
