Khairatabad Ganpati Gears Up For Festival

Hyderabad, July 4 (Maxim News): Preparations for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi are in full swing in Hyderabad! Construction of the iconic Khairatabad Ganpati idol is progressing rapidly.

Traditionally, welding works begin after the shed’s completion. However, this year, the festival committee faced a brief delay due to internal discussions. MLA Danam Nagender intervened to ensure a smooth celebration.

An ad-hoc committee, comprising 21 members from both sides, was formed to oversee the festivities. As a result, the usual 100-day idol construction period has been condensed to 60 days.

Just three days ago, materials for the shed arrived at the Vinayaka venue. Steel for the idol’s structure was delivered on Tuesday. The dedication and teamwork promise a grand celebration despite the shorter timeframe. (Maxim News)
