Officers To Visit Field Level: Commissioner Amrapali Kata

HYDERABAD, July 04: GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata has directed the concerned officials of Zonal Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to visit the field level every day.

He held a meeting with the zonal commissioners in his chamber on Thursday evening. On this occasion, the Commissioner said… Zonal Commissioners as well as Deputy Commissioners were also ordered to visit their respective areas at the field level and send the relevant photos along with the report.

At the field level, they should not only explain each and every issue to the public, but also take steps to bring the matter up in the media. If it is necessary to pay special attention to the prevention of dengue, he ordered that IEC programs should be carried out vigorously. The concerned entomology personnel are advised to go from house to house and take special measures for mosquito prevention. Besides, it is suggested to take steps to make special programs on Sunday as a dry day every Friday. He said that the allocated tax should be collected every month and funds would be sanctioned according to the percentage of tax collected. The commissioner also directed the officials to focus on sanitation and C&D.
