Case Against Dhanwantari Foundation Director For Luring Innocent Senior Citizens 

Hyderabad, July 8 (Maxim News): The Central Crime Station (CCS), Hyderabad has registered a case against Dhanwantari Foundation International Trust represented by its director Dr. P.Kamalakar Sharma and others, for luring innocent senior citizens/victims in the name of Brahmins community and assuring to give good profits on their deposits/investments within a specific period and thereby collected about Rs. 514 crores from them and cheated around 4,000 victims. The case was booked in Crime No. 358/2023 U/s 420 r/w 34 IPC and Sec 5 of TSPDFE Act.

In the said crime the Dy. Commissioner of Police, Detective Department, CCS, Hyd., and I/c. Addl. Crimes &; SIT, Hyderabad interacted with nearly 200 victims and explained the progress of the investigation done so far through a detailed presentation. As per the Investigating Officer  L.Adinarayana, ACP EOW Team-VI, CCS, Hyderabad, till now identified properties acquired by DFI and its companies at 1) DFI Hospital premises at Amberpet 2) Ankapalli, Vizag 3) Gannavaram, Vijayawada 4) Siddipet and 5) Midjil nearly about 450 Acres of land and also commercial space about 3000 Sq Yds in the heart of the Hyderabad City and succeeded in obtaining GOs in four properties and filed affidavits before the Hon’ble MSJ Court for absolute orders. For the remaining two properties, the process is in progress with the Government. So far around 30 bank accounts of DFI and floated companies have been frozen. A forensic audit has also been conducted. The DCP, DD has assured the victims that the Investigation officer and herself are available for any victim in this case for any kind of information on the case.

All efforts are being made to complete the investigation and ensure justice for all victims as per the Protection of Depositors Act. (Maxim News)
