Election Commission Issues Notification For Rajya Sabha Nominated Post
Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 14 (Maxim News): The Central Election Commission has issued a notification for the Rajya Sabha seat in Telangana, along with other Rajya Sabha elections across various states.

Following the resignation of K. Keshav Rao, a Rajya Sabha MP from BRS who recently joined Congress, the seat has become vacant.
The nomination process will run from August 14 to 21. According to the Election Commission’s notification, the deadline for withdrawing nominations is August 27, with polling scheduled for September 3. The results will be announced on the same day.

Meanwhile, speculation is growing within the Congress party that Abhishek Singhvi might be the candidate, while Congress candidate CM Revanth Reddy’s visit to Delhi for the Rajya Sabha contest will be finalized soon. (Maxim News)
