Officials sent notices after receiving complaints that these were constructed within the FTL and buffer zone of the small Damera pond. The notice stated that an explanation should be given within 15 days.

HYDRA warned Rajasekhar Reddy that he should look for alternative ways to the colleges otherwise appropriate action would be taken. The HYDRA  team recently inspected the Marri Rajasekhar Reddy Colleges‘ built-in Damera Pond. Officials concluded that they were built illegally.

However, there were allegations that the management of the educational institutions had violated the rules while leaving a buffer zone of 30 meters for the Nadem pond

However, Palla said that the cases were filed illegally and requested the High Court to proceed legally.

The High Court which inquired into this suggested that HYDRA should go ahead as per the rules.  (Maxim News)
