CM Revanth Reddy Criticizes KCR’s “Selection and Collection” Tactics

Hyderabad, Sept 9 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that Konda Laxman Bapuji has sacrificed his post and was the first to resign from the Cabinet for the sake of Telangana and even given his house to former Chief Minister and BRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to set up party office, but what the KCR dandha was selection and collection and claiming sacrifice.

The Chief Minister has virtually inaugurated the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT) at Nampally. An inauguration ceremony was held at Lalitha Kalathoranam, unveiling the logo of Cheneta Abhayahastam.

CM Revanth Reddy Highlights Differences with Konda Laxman Bapuji

Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that Konda Laxman Bapuji had given the place for setting up KCR’s office. He said that he reluctantly gave up his posts for Telangana. But some people (Obviously referring to TRS now BRS MLAs resigning the bridging the bye-elections again and again. He criticized the selections (selections of candidates) and collection (eams collection from the candidate) and making the election most expensive, on this again claiming of sacrifice (sacrifice for the people of Telangana) with this selection and collection KCR constructed huge farmhouses at Gajwel and other places for himself and for his family. There are quite opposite differences between KCR and Konda Laxman Bapubji.

The Chief Minister said that Telangana will always recognize Konda Laxman Bapuji,  IIHT is also named after Konda Lakshman Bapuji. He said IIHT is being established in Nampally Telugu Academy.  “During the previous government, there were no changes in the way of life of handloom workers.  The BRS government did not pay dues to handloom workers, we released their dues immediately after the Congress party came to power. He said that there are 63 lakh members of Self Help Societies.  We have decided to give 2 sarees to the women of self-help groups every year. The government is ready to settle the debt burden of handloom workers to the tune of Rs. 30 crores.  “We will do justice to caste and handicrafts, said Revanth Reddy  

IIHT has launched for skilled handloom artisans and innovators.  special courses and training programs will be provided here to encourage innovators in the field of handloom.  The institute will provide advanced research opportunities.  Diploma courses in textile technology will be given to 60 people every year.  (Maxim News)
