Hyderabad, Sept 17 (Maxim News): Balapur Ganesh Laddu fetched a record price this time, it has been auctioned at Rs. 30.01 lakhs. Last year Laddu earned Rs. 27 lakhs. Dasari Dayananad Reddy, a non local, got the laddoo. After the Auction, Balapur Ganesh Shobhayatra started.

Kolana Shankar Reddy spoke after getting the laddoos. This is the ninth time this Balapur Laddoo has been given to our family. “I am dedicating this laddoo to Prime Minister Narendra Modi“, he said.
Since 1994 the laddoo auction has been going on in Balapur. It was shared with Rs. 450 in 2016, Rs. 14.65 lakhs in 2017, Rs. 15.60 lakhs in 2018, Rs. 16.60 lakhs in 2019, Rs. 17.60 lakhs in 2021 Rs. 18.90 lakhs in 2022, Rs. 24.60 lakhs in 2020 the auction was canceled due to Corona. It is becoming a tradition to hold an auction at the main chowrasta of Balapur. (Maxim News)
