CPI Leader Narayana Pay Tribute To Saibaba’s Body At Gunpark

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (Maxim News): CPI senior leader Narayana and many others paid their respects to the mortal remains of Professor Sai Baba at the martyrs’ Stupa in Gunpark.

Along with CPI leader Narayana, many left leaders also protested. Saibaba fans flocked there in large numbers. They shouted slogans like Comrade Saibaba Amar Rahe, Lal Salam, and Inquilab Zindabad.

When the family members and fans asked to organize a 5-minute condolence meeting at the Gunpark, the police refused Saibaba’s body was kept in the ambulance but was not allowed. This led to an altercation between Saibaba’s fans and the police. Amarhain Saibaba’s body was moved to his residence in Moulali.

CPI leader Narayana said that intellectuals are those who read society. Saibaba was praised as such a person.

He spoke to the media at the Gunpark. Saibaba was unjustly detained in jail for ten years. Narayana said that he would write a letter to the Supreme Court judge to decide who is guilty.

Former Minister MLA Harish Rao and MLA Kodandaram paid tributes to the body of Sai Baba. Harish Rao said that it is sad that Saibaba died only a few years after he came out of prison.

He was hailed as a great person who fought for change and rights in society. It is painful to file illegal cases against those who fight for their rights.

Kodandaram said that the Center acted oppressively against Sai Baba. They demanded that the Center should be held responsible for his death.

He said that Sai Baba fought for the implementation of the basic principles of the Constitution. Kodandaram reminded that all democrats condemned his arrest. (Maxim News)
