Fed Up With Her Husband’s Habit Of Eating Gutka, Wife Commits Suicide

 Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 24 (Maxim News): Fed up with her husband’s habit of eating gutkha, a wife committed suicide. This incident took place in Jalalpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh, which was learned belatedly.

Sarika and Namdev had a love marriage and lived in Jalalpur village in the Srila area of Hamirpur. According to reports, the quarrel started when Sarika asked her husband to give up the habit of Gathka.  

The tension between the couple grew due to the husband’s habit of eating gutkha, despite keeping upawas for the whole day and performing the ritual of Karva Chauth. After seeing the moon, Sarika hanged herself after breaking the vow. (Maxim News)
