Osmania University Vice Chancellor Inaugurated Two Day Conference On Recent Trends In Modern Medical Devices

Hyderabad, Oct 25 (Maxim News): Vice-Chancellor Acharya Kumar Molugaram inaugurated the two-day conference organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Osmania University on “Recent Trends in Modern Medical Devices, RTME 24”.

Addressing the students and researchers on this occasion, he emphasized the importance of modern technology in biomedical engineering in the present society. He said that the contours of biomedical engineering will change with robotics and artificial intelligence technology. He said that it is creating new trends in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. Professor Kumar explained the importance of education, research, and innovation in developing the society to adapt to the rapid changes.

Advances in technology and knowledge generation are expected to provide affordable healthcare to the most remote poor populations. He appreciated the organizers for including the initiative of the Central Government in setting up CDSCO for medical devices in the scope of this seminar.

A souvenir was released on this occasion. Engineering College Principal Professor P. Chandrasekhar said… highlighted the importance of health care in the current situation. Organizers said the aim of the seminar was to explore innovative advancements in medical devices by experts in the healthcare industry.

He said that through such seminars, engineers practicing in the biomedical field will get the opportunity to collaborate and network. It is revealed that it will be useful to provide knowledge in the latest topics and to solve the deficiencies in the curriculum.
