Case Likely To Filed Against KCR On Irregularities In Thermal Power Plants

Hyderabad, Nov 2 (Maxim News): It seems that the Congress government headed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has filed a case against former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. It is reported that preparations are being made to register a case against irregularities in the Yadadri and Bhadradri thermal power plants during the previous BRS government. After investigating this, Justice Madan B.Lokur Commission gave a report to the government.

In the report given to the state government on the 28th of last month, there are suspicions of irregularities in the purchase of electricity from Chhattisgarh. It is reliable information that the commission has confirmed that former CM KCR took all these decisions. It seems that there is a chance of filing a case against Jagadish Reddy, who served as the Minister of Power at that time.

The Lokur Commission has directed the government to register a case and conduct a more in-depth investigation. CM Revanth will review the commission report soon. It seems that there is a plan to discuss the report in the assembly as well.

It may be recalled that in the past the state government had formed a commission headed by Justice L. Narasimha Reddy to investigate the irregularities in Yadadri and Bhadradri thermal power plants. In this order, notices were also received to the then CM KCR to attend the inquiry. Responding to the notices, KCR gave a written reply. KCR filed a case against Justice L. Narasimha Reddy in the Supreme Court for talking to the media.

Meanwhile, Justice L. Narasimha Reddy withdrew from the trial by order of the Supreme Court. After that, the commission under the leadership of Madan B.Lokur took up the investigation. This commission expired last month itself.

The commission has already submitted the inquiry report to the state government. But we have to wait and see what decision CM Revanth will take after the review. If KCR is found guilty in this, will he be arrested? The debate is going on in the politics of the state. (Maxim News)
