High Court Reserve Verdict On Disqualification Petition Of Defecting MLAs

Hyderabad, Nov 12 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court has reserved its verdict on the disqualification petition of party defecting MLAs. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the bench put the judgment on hold today after the arguments were completed. Due to this, the Court’s decision has caused great excitement in the politics of the state.

It is known that the MLAs Danam Nagender, Tellam Venkata Rao, and Kadiam Srihari, who won the Telangana Assembly elections held in the month of November last year on the BRS party symbol, joined the ruling Congress party. BRS leaders have approached the Telangana High Court to order the speaker to disqualify the defected MLAs Danam Nagender, Tellam Venkata Rao, and Kadiam Srihari, who won on the symbol of one party and joined another party.

The court, which took up the hearing on these petitions, issued orders to the Secretary of the Assembly to finalize the schedule for the disqualification of the defecting MLAs.

The Assembly Secretary challenged the order of the High Court Single Bench in the Division Bench. He stated in the petition that the courts do not have the authority to issue orders to the Speaker. On the petition filed by the Speaker of the Assembly today, (November 12) the bench, which heard the arguments of both parties, reserved the verdict on the petition of disqualification of party-defected MLAs. As a result, there is nervous tension in state politics as to what kind of verdict the court will give.  (Maxim News)
