Bathukamma Kunta Will Be Restored To Its Glory: HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath

Hyderabad, Nov 13 (Maxim News): HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath made sensational comments on Bathukamma Kunta in the city. It has been revealed that Bathukamma Kunta will be restored to its former glory in two months.

The HYDRA Commissioner reached Amberpet Bathukamma Kunta today and inspected the encroached area. Later, he spoke to the media and made it clear that there would be no demolition of the houses in the Bathukamma Kunta area. He said that they would reconcile only Bathukamma Kunta. He said that there is a misconception among the local people that there will be demolitions.

He said that they would restore the existing area of five acres. He said that he would discuss with the officials of the Revenue and Irrigation Department the ways flood water coming into Bathukamma Kunta. He said that HYDRA has the authority to issue notices. It has been revealed that HYDRA notices will continue to go to the illegals. He said that the structures built by occupying the road in Nagaram were demolished today. He said that the road leading to the five colonies was occupied. He said that the survey was done after the locals complained to them.

HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath stated that the structures which have been occupied for 15 years have been removed.

Along with the HYDRA Commissioner, officials from Revenue, Irrigation, and GHMC inspected Bathukamma Kunta.

However, in the wake of the HYDRA Commissioner’s visit to Bathukamma Kunta, there was an atmosphere of high tension since morning. HYDRA received complaints about Bathukamma Kunta encroachments. In this order, Ranganath decided to inspect Bathukamma Kunta today. Police were heavily deployed in the wake of Ranganath’s visit. But the locals protested not to demolish their houses. The locals demanded that the lake should be beautified without removing the houses. Finally, the HYDRA Commissioner who inspected Bathukamma Kunta spoke to the people there. People expressed happiness when they said that they would not demolish the houses.

On the other hand, the HYDRA demolitions have started again in the city. HYDRA officials demolished illegal structures in Nagaram today. HYDRA demolished illegal structures encroaching on the main road in Raj Sukhnagar Colony near Rampally. HYDRA formed two teams and carried out demolitions.
