High Court Surprised Over Bhoodan Land Scam
Hyderabad, Nov 15 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court has expressed surprise that Ranga Reddy issued a certificate of inheritance when he was the district collector, who was the person who confirmed the orders given by the RDO as an appellate tribunal authority.

The High Court in its clarification remarks against Ranga Reddy’s former Collector Amoy Kumar have to answer the allegation of over the outrage of issuance of inheritance certificates for Bhoodan lands. The Court said that it has seen articles in the newspapers that the previous collector of Ranga Reddy district (Referring to Amoy Kumar) is already facing many cases. It said that the Nizam should be congratulated for distinguishing the lands into three types namely Diwani, Surfekaz, and Pattalu. The High Court said that the Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court has made it clear in the Syed Yakub case that when there are allegations against the officers, they have to answer the court. Bhutan expressed displeasure over the authorities not taking steps to protect the lands. While Ramachandra Reddy gave 300 acres to the poor, the officials including the previous Bhudan Board sold it and consumed it.
Many great people in Telangana gave lands to the poor, former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao said that when the Agricultural Ceiling Act came into force, He gave 500 acres, The authorities, including the previous board, have failed to protect Bhudan lands. After confirming that 10 acres of land belong to the Bhudan Board in the present case, the counter has issued notice to the Chief Secretary of the Revenue Department, Bhudan Yagna Board, former Collector D.Amoy Kumar, the then RDO R.P Jyoti and two other private persons to file the inheritance certificate.

Nawab Farooq Ali Khan has filed a petition in the High Court challenging the issuance of an inheritance certificate to Khader Unnisa Begum regarding 10.29 acres in Nagaram Village survey No. 182 of Maheswaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.
Justice C.V. Bhaskar Reddy 6 took up the investigation. While hearing the arguments of the advocate on behalf of the petitioner, the RDO had previously ordered these lands as Bhudan lands, but the Special Tribunal had upheld it. On the contrary, the officer presiding over the tribunal accepted the application given by Khader Unnisa Begum in the capacity of collector and issued the passbook of the graduate. Apart from that, the High Court issued an interim order to continue the status quo with the Bhudan lands, but they had not paid attention to it. After listening to the arguments, the judge said that the Patta Pass book was issued without thinking even though the dispute regarding the Bhudan lands was pending. Interim orders were issued to maintain the status quo on these lands
The hearing was adjourned to November 28 by issuing notices to the respondents ordering them to file counters with full details regarding this dispute. (Maxim News)
