Loss Of Lakhs In A Fire Accident At Textile Shop In Attapur

Hyderabad, Nov 20 (Maxim News): Property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted down in a fire incident at Attapur in the city on Wednesday.

According to the police, a fire broke out at the apparel shop located on Attapur Road around the afternoon. On noticing it the workers at the shop tried to shift the consignments out of the shop. However, noticing the ferocity of the flames, the workers ran away. The property was reduced to ashes within a few minutes. 

On being alerted, the fire tenders from nearby fire stations rushed to the spot and started the firefighting operation. At least three fire tenders controlled the blaze after a nearly one-hour operation.

Officials suspect the fire broke out due to a short circuit.  However, the exact cause of the fire is being ascertained.  (Maxim News)
