Woman Dies Of Electric Shock While Drying Clothes

Mancherial/Hyderabad, Dec 7 (Maxim News): A woman was accidentally electrocuted while drying clothes on an iron wire through which electricity was passing at Madaram township in Thandur mandal center on Saturday.

Police said that Pulagam Sumalatha (35), wife of auto-rickshaw driver Tirupati, died on the spot when she touched the wire which was electrified due to faulty wiring.

She was alone at the time of the incident.  Some neighbors noticed her body and alerted her family members, who in turn informed police about the incident. Police shifted the body to a government hospital in Bellampalli for post-mortem. Based on a complaint from Tirupati, a case was registered.  Investigations were taken up. (Maxim News)
