Abroad/internet/Hyderabad, Dec 27 (Maxim News): Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed’s brother-in-law and deputy chief of terrorist organization Jamaat-ud-Dawa Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki died of a heart attack on Friday. (December 27), Professor Abdul Rehman Makki, who had been ill for the past few days, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Lahore due to diabetes.

In 2020, an anti-terrorism court sentenced Hafiz Abdul Rehman to six months in prison in a terror financing case. In 2023, Makki was designated as a global terrorist by the United Nations. Makki’s assets were frozen. He was banned from travelling and possessing weapons. The Pakistan Muttahida Muslim League (PMML) declared Makki a Pakistani ideologue. (Maxim News)
