KTR Arrived ED Office For Questioning In Formula E-Race Case Scam
Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): BRS Working President KT Rama Rao appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Formula E-car race case scam, Earlier, he left his residence in Gachibowli and reached the ED office directly.

In this context, heavy security has been taken up in front of the ED office in Basheerbagh. About 200 police personnel were deployed there. The police brought tear gas and water cannon vehicles.
ED officials are investigating the transfer of funds from the HMDA account to a foreign company. ED officials are already investigating this case based on the statements given by Arvind Kumar and BLN Reddy. The ACB is investigating the violation of rules in the Formula -E Car race scam. I is known that the ED has registered another case regarding the payment of funds to a foreign company without the permission of the RBI.

On the other hand, a large number of BRS activists reached the ED office. A scuffle broke out when the police stopped them. Due to this, the situation here became tense.
As part of the investigation, the ED has already questioned the then Special Chief Secretary of the Municipal and Urban Development Department Arvind Kumar, and former Chief Engineer of HMDA BLN Reddy, who were already accused in the same case.

On the other hand, it is known that the High Court rejected the quash petition filed by KTR to quash the FIR registered against him by the ACB.
The ED investigation has gained importance in the wake of the Supreme Court’s order on Wednesday declaring the petition filed by KTR challenging this as dismissed as withdrawn. (Maxim News)
