KPHB Land Auction” BRS MLA House Arrest

Hyderabad, Jan 24 (Maxim News): The Kukatpally Housing Board land auction has become controversial. The KPHB land auction is continuing amidst heavy police security. BRS leaders are expressing their anger that the people are being cheated by selling plots that will be lost in the road expansion. They have raised concerns that people will lose money by selling flats without considering the master plans.

In this context, the police have placed local MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao under house arrest, who called for blocking the land auction. The police have taken preventive measures as part of the housing plots auction. 

Police have been deployed at the MLA’s residence. The MLA’s followers are expressing anger over the police’s behavior.  The Housing Board officials are acting arbitrarily and have set their sights on making money by selling plots without considering the municipal laws and master plan.

MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao has made it clear that they will block the land auction. As part of this, the police have placed the BRS MLA under house arrest. The Housing Board officials are auctioning a total of 28 flats in the Kukatpally Housing Board.  With the High Court’s stay, the officials are auctioning the remaining plots, excluding the 9th phase.

On the other hand, there is high tension in the KPHB land auction. Heavy police deployment has been made at every step. The land auction is continuing amidst heavy police security. Meanwhile, Jana Sena leaders also tried to stop the land auction in KPHB. The police stopped and arrested the Jana Sena leaders who came to the auction premises. This led to an argument between the police and the Jana Sena leaders.  Amid the leaders’ agitation, there was chaos at the housing land auction.   

Meanwhile, Housing Department Commissioner and Board Vice Chairman V.P Gautam announced in a statement that the remaining plots within the Kukatpally Housing Board colony will be auctioned.  He said that only plots with small areas that cannot be implemented for housing construction schemes and plots left here and there between houses are being auctioned.  

He said that people should take advantage of this opportunity.  Gautam also revealed on this occasion that appropriate steps have been taken to ensure that 700 acres of land within the Housing Board’s jurisdiction does not become encroached upon.  (Maxim News)
