Notification Issued for MLC Elections: Nomination Process Begins

Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Maxim News): The notification for the Teacher and Graduate MLC elections in Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda and Karimnagar-Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad districts has been issued. Candidates can file their nominations from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM until February 10.

The nominations will be reviewed on February 11, and candidates can withdraw their names until 3:00 PM on February 13. After that, the final list of candidates contesting the elections will be announced.

Security and Arrangements

To ensure a smooth nomination process, authorities have set up barricades around the Nalgonda Collectorate. Only three vehicles and five people, including the candidate, will be allowed inside the restricted area.

Candidates for the Teacher MLC seat must submit their nominations at the Returning Officer’s (RO) office in the conference hall of the Nalgonda Collectorate. Collector Ila Tripathi has been appointed as the Returning Officer.

For the Teacher and Graduate MLC seats in Karimnagar-Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad, Collector Pamela Satpathy will serve as the Returning Officer. The nomination process for these constituencies will take place at the Karimnagar Collectorate, where all arrangements are in place. (Maxim News)
