The meeting, which took place on Wednesday night, was primarily about the release of water to the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers. However, sources claim that during the meeting, Minister Jupally criticized Kharge, stating that if a BRS MLA was brought into the fold, they would not receive any priority or cooperation from the Congress.

Meanwhile, MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy voiced concerns to Kharge about not being given priority in the Gadwal constituency and that Saritha Tirupathaiah was receiving more attention. He reportedly expressed uncertainty about his future, particularly if by-elections were to take place in his constituency. Kharge is said to have responded positively to these concerns.
