Hyderabad: Gang Loots SBI ATM In Just Four Minutes

Rangareddy/Hyderabad, Mar 2 (Maxim News): A major theft took place in Adibatla Raviryala early this morning (Sunday). Enraged thieves broke into an ATM and looted Rs. 29 lakh. A gang of four thieves arrived at the Adibatla Raviryala SBI ATM in a shift car early. Seeing that no one was there, they entered the ATM. The masked suspects sprayed the CCTV cameras first so that the scenes would not be recorded.  They also cut the sensor wires so that the emergency siren would not sound.

They broke the ATM with the help of cutters and iron bars. They broke the ATM within four minutes and took out the money. They then fled in their cars.

Based on information from locals, Maheswaram DCP Sunitha Reddy and ACP Raju and Adibatla police rushed to the spot. They inspected the area of the theft. A case was registered, and an investigation was launchedSearch operations were launched for the absconding accused. The bank manager said that there was Rs. 29 lakh in the ATM at the time of the theft.  (Maxim News)
