Huge Drug Racket Busted In Hyderabad, Three People Arrested

Hyderabad, April 5 (Maxim News): Police have busted a huge drug racket in Hyderabad. Police said that they have identified a total of 13 people in a gang that is supplying drugs to Telangana as well as foreign countries like America.

Among them, Ugwa Inkechukawa and Chukuwu Ogbanna, who are supplying drugs, have been arrested along with forex agent Mohammed Mateen Siddiqui, the police said.

Police said that they are looking for the main accused in this gang, Ebuka Suji, and 9 others. Police said that they have found that payments are being made to mafias abroad for cocaine and MDMA drugs. They have seized 15 grams of cocaine and 50 grams of cocaine and 50 grams of MDMA drugs worth Rs. 12.5 lakhs. The accused have been found to be involved in money laundering worth crores of rupees. They have found that cocaine is being illegally imported and sold to India from Latin America, the police said.

It is said that crores of rupees were transferred to Nigeria through money transfer through hawala, the money earned from drug sales in foreign countries like Hyderabad, Bangalore and America. Recently, this gang, which transferred Rs. 80 lakhs, has apparently transferred more than Rs. 5 crores to Nigeria in the last three years.

Police are warning money transfer agents, especially foreigners, to transfer money to Nigerians only after taking their details, otherwise cases will be registered for such crimes. They said that when renting houses to Nigerians, they should take their full details in Form C and inform them if anything seems suspicious.

College and school students are also selling drugs. Police said that they have put a watch on them. Students should ot ruin their future. Police are advising them not to get addicted to drugs.

They have put a special watch on those who sell and consume drugs. Hyderabad is at the top in new technology. Police said that they will stop the supply of drugs through technology. (Maxim News)
