He warned that even if the terrorists are in Pakistan, they will not be left behind. He warned that the terrorists will be killed wherever they are. Jaishankar gave an interview to the Dutch-based broadcaster NOS on Thursday (May 22). On this occasion, he spoke about the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Operation Sindoor, and the developments that took place after it.

The main objective of Operation Sindoor is to eliminate terrorists. The operation is continuing because Operation Sindoor has a specific objective. If there are terrorist attacks like Pahalgam, the response will also be in the same range. We will take revenue from the terroristsWe will not leave the terrorists in PakistanWe will go to their place and finish them off. Therefore, Operation Sindoor is continuing. Operation Sindoor does not have to be in the form of firing alone. Currently, the ceasefire and cessation of military operations are continuing, he said.

Jaishankar clarified that Trump commented that the US mediated the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan. Trump dismissed the comments that the two countries had held direct talks to negotiate a ceasefire and reduce military action between India and Pakistan. There was no third-party mediation in this. He said that New Delhi has made it clear to the international community, including the US, that Pakistan should talk directly to India to reduce the tensions between the two countries. However, he said that US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio held talks with India during the tensions between Pakistan and India.  (Maxim News)
