Hyderabad: The pace with which the fashion industry is developing in India is creating employment opportunities in this sector. Students holding certificates in this field are in high demand in the fashion world.
In this background, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is offering admissions in Certificate, Diploma and Under Graduate Programmes in Fashion Technology and Interior Design courses in collaboration with SAMANA College of Design Studies under its School of Technology (SoT) on merit basis. According to Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean, SoT, Candidates who have passed 10+2 in any stream with not less than 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent CGPA are eligible to take admission in these courses. Apart from this, special exemptions are given to Urdu University Model Schools, Polytechnics students.
Certificate in (Fashion Technology and Interior Design) are available at Hyderabad, Luknow and Kadapa whereas at Varanasi only Certificate in Fashion Technology is being offered. Diploma and B.Sc. in (Fashion Technology and Interior Design) are being offered at Hyderabad and Kadapa.
