KCR Family Now Worthless to Telangana: MP Raghunandan
KCR Family | Hyderabad, May 30 (Maxim News): BJP MP Raghunandan Rao launched a scathing attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and its leadership, claiming that the people of Telangana have rejected the KCR family, comparing them to a “worthless rupee” in the current political scenario.
Reacting strongly to recent comments made by MLC Kavitha, Raghunandan alleged that the BRS, once in power, misused authority by filing false cases and making baseless arrests. “They spread false propaganda and targeted political rivals. Now, they are trying to revive their lost image with paid articles and staged branding,” he said.
He questioned the BRS government’s legacy, bringing up the neglect of Telangana martyrs. “What justice was done to martyr Srikanthachary? What did BRS offer to the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Telangana?” Raghunandan asked.
He accused Kavitha of never visiting martyr families during her time in power, adding, “For ten years, how many such families did she truly support?”
The BJP leader said the people are moving away from both BRS and Congress. “The BJP is gaining momentum, while the Congress is quickly losing public trust. BRS couldn’t even win a single seat in the parliamentary elections,” he said.

Raghunandan also dismissed speculation about a possible BRS-BJP merger, calling such talks “garbage panchayats” aimed at halting the BJP’s rise.
“There were no discussions about merging BRS with the BJP. If Kavitha has courage, she should hold a press conference and speak openly instead of chit-chatting in corners,” he challenged.
He criticized the internal conflicts within BRS, suggesting that the party is collapsing from within. “If Harish Rao is a BJP covert, why hasn’t he been suspended from the Cabinet? You’re trying to blame others for your family panchayat,” he said.
Taking a dig at Kavitha’s involvement in Bathukamma festivities, Raghunandan remarked, “Bathukamma is a part of Telangana’s history. They’re now claiming that if Kavitha plays Bathukamma, she’ll revive the party. That’s not how revival works.”
He further claimed that Kavitha might be planning to float a new political party, as BRS appears directionless and disconnected from public sentiment. “Those who want BRS to collapse are working with her. The party couldn’t even contest the recent MLC elections due to a lack of candidates,” he added.
Raghunandan concluded by asserting that the BJP remains focused on people’s issues and is not involved in behind-the-scenes politics. “Let them resolve their family issues. Don’t drag the BJP into these political dramas,” he said. (Maxim New)
