Goa Casino Clash: Hyderabad Rowdy Sheeter Arrested
Goa/Hyderabad, May 30: (maxim News) In a dramatic turn of events that happened late last night, Hyderabad-based rowdy sheeter Altaf was picked up by the Goa police after an attack on a casino official in Panaji turned fatal.
Altaf, who is from Hyderabad’s Mailardevpally, is said to have gone to Goa two days ago with three of his friends. On Wednesday evening, the four of them went to a casino in Panaji, where Altaf, under the influence of liquor, caused a commotion at the casino.
When security officers at the casino attempted to pacify the situation, Altaf became violent. He fought a physical fight with two of the security guards—Dhiru Sharma and Satyam Gonkar. Even though they tried to calm the situation, Altaf allegedly attacked them with an iron rod.
Unfortunately, Dhiru Sharma received serious injuries in the attack and later died. After this, Altaf tried to leave Goa and go back to Hyderabad. However, the prompt response of the Goa police resulted in his arrest at the airport in Goa before he could leave.
The case has caused shock waves in both Hyderabad and Goa, with serious questions being raised about criminal activity across state boundaries. The case is under investigation further, and Altaf is likely to be charged with murder and assault.
Police authorities have stated that Altaf has a criminal background and is categorized as a rowdy sheeter in the Hyderabad Kalapather police records. The legal action is ongoing, and further news is to be awaited as the probe unfolds. (Maxim News)
