GHMC Mayor Extends Bakrid Greetings To People
Hyderabad, June 06 (Maxim News): Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said that Eid-ul-Adha is a festival that celebrates sacrifice, selfless service and brotherhood. The Mayor extended his heartfelt greetings to all the people of the city on the occasion of the festival of Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha).
He wished that this festival would promote peace, harmony and unity among all people. “The festival of Bakrid reminds us of the greatness of sacrifice as well as kindness towards the needy. On the occasion of this festival, let us help each other and share love and happiness in the society,” the Mayor said in his message.
The Mayor wished that the Muslim brothers and sisters of the city celebrate the festival of Bakrid with joy and happiness and that this festival will fill their lives with happiness and joy.
Also, on the occasion of the festival, the Mayor appealed to the people to celebrate the festival in a harmonious atmosphere. (Maxim News)
