One Million Jobs In Russia Will Be Given To Indians: Putin
Internet Desk/Hyderabad, July 10 (Maxim News): Russia is currently facing a severe labour shortage. The main reasons for this are the ongoing war with Ukraine, demographic problems, and a decrease in the number of migrant workers. In this contest, news has emerged that Russia is aiming to hire one million Indian workers by the end of 2025. This can be said to be a golden opportunity for Indian youth, especially those who are waiting for job opportunities.
Indian workers are considered an important resource to overcome the labour shortage in Russia. Opportunities are particularly abundant in the construction sector, textile industry, warehousing, delivery services, agriculture and the food industry.
The Moscow Times reported that Andrei Besdin, head of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Russia, estimates that one million Indian specialists will come to Russia, especially to the Sverdlovsk region, by the end of 2025. There are also plans to open a new Indian Consulate in Yekaterinburg. This will help Indian workers. It has been found that Russian employers consider Indian workers an attractive workforce due to their experience, youth and low wages.
However, foreign workers consider the lack of Russian language skills to be a major obstacle. However, the extremely cold climate in Russia is also something that workers who want to go there should take into account. In addition to Indian workers, Nesdin said that Moscow is planning to hire employees from Sri Lanka and North Korea. (Maxim News)
