Meanwhile, Jagdeep Dhankhar unexpectedly resigned from his post last night. He stated that he is stepping down from the post due to health reasons.
Prime Minister Modi has responded to the resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and thanked him. Modi took to social media to praise Dhankhar for his public service and his long political career. He posted on Twitter that Jagdeep Dhankhar had served the country in many capacities, including as the Vice President of India, and wished him good health and prosperity.
