School Unsafe! HYDRAA Declares Govt. School In Secunderabad Unsafe
Hyderabad, August 03 (Maxim News): After inspecting the Kingsway Government School in Secunderabad on Saturday, August 2, Hyderabad Disaster Management and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) Commissioner AV Ranganath ordered its demolition due to its deteriorating state.
After more than a century of existence, the Commissioner observed that the school was now in a state of disrepair. When he contacted with the school’s officials, they told him that there was a severe concern because the ceiling fans were collapsing.
The Ranganath was told by GHMC deputy commissioner DD Nayak and assistant town planning officer Pavani that the institution had received notices seven years prior about its dangerous state.

In order to guarantee that the school’s reconstruction is completed as soon as possible, the Commissioner then instructed HYDRAA staff to demolish the building over the next few vacations and to also bring the issue to the attention of the district collector and education officer.
Prashanna, the Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) and headmaster of the school, asked that alternate classroom arrangements be prepared in order to prevent any disruptions to the children’ academic year.
After that, the Commissioner requested that the Mahbub School Trust assign classrooms. The officials of the trust promised to take the proposition into consideration.
