Congress MLC Vijayashanti commented that there are the highest number of BC children in India. Are BJP leaders ashamed? They asked why the BC bill is not being approved in parliament. Rahul Gandhi said that he met the people during the Jodo Yatra and learned about their hardships.

He asked the President to give his assent to the BC bill. They say that if the BC bill is approved in parliament, there will be legal implications, MLC Vijayashanti questioned how the EBC reservations were implemented. He criticized the BJP leaders and Modi for not being sincere about BC reservations. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is insulting the BCs. He emphasized that the Congress has taken a step forward for the BCs. he said that no BC child will vote for Modi. MLC Vijayashanti demanded that the Central government support the BC bill.

BJP Adilabad MLA Payal Shankar criticised the Congress for not having the sincerity to implement the Kamareddy Declaration. She recalled that they had said this the day it was introduced in the assembly. She made it clear that if there is Muslim reservation in the BC Bill, the central government will not agree to implement this bill.

She criticized that it is far-fetched to hold a dharna saying that the central government is not implementing the BC Bill. She questioned why the Kamareddy Declaration promised to spend Rs. 20 thousand crores per year. She questioned why not a single penny was spent in two years.

He criticized that the dharna in Delhi was not for 42 percent BCs.
