Delhi court rejects Swamy’s plea for more accounts documents
The Patiala House court on Monday dismissed Subramanian Swamy’s plea seeking accounts documents and ledger books from the Congress Party in the ongoing National Herald case.
The court set February 10 as the next hearing date and asked Swamy to submit a list of witnesses on that date.
Swamy had asked to see these account documents because in his petition alleged that Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi got hold of Associated Journals – parent company of National Herald – through “dishonest means”. That, he said, is “criminal misappropriation and criminal breach of trust”.
