PM Modi Warns Pakistan Using Red Fort As A Platform

Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 15 (Maxim News): On the occasion of the 79th independence Day, Prime Minister Modi once again issued a strong warning to Pakistan from the Red Fort, clearly expressing his firm stance on the country’s security.

He condemned Pakistan’s repeated nuclear threats. He said that India is not afraid of nuclear threats. At the same time, he made it clear to Pakistan that he will not agree to the Indus Waters Treaty. he said that blood and water cannot flow together.

“My country’s land is suffering from water shortage due to the Indus Water Treaty. Farmers have suffered a lot due to water shortage. Farmers should not suffer like this anymore. the water that is India’s right belongs to India only,” he said.

Earlier, on the occasion of the 79th independence Day with the theme of Naya Bharat Prime Minister Modi began his speech from the Red Fort. he expressed his patriotism by dressing up to reflect the theme of New India (naya Bharat). This is Prime Minister Modi’s 12th independence Day speech in a row. As per tradition, the prime Minister offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and before addressing the nation, he reached the historic Lahori Gate (the main gate of the Red Fort in Delhi) at Red fort. He received the salute there. After that, he began his speech. (Maxim News)
