PM Modi Dedicates ₹11,000 Cr Highway Projects, Says Delhi Witnessing ‘Development Revolution
Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 17 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated two crucial national highway projects worth around Rs. 11,000 crore in the National Capital Region (NCR) to the nation. These include the Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-2 in the Delhi section. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Delhi and Haryana Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and nayab Singh Saini were present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister organized a road show in Mundka, Delhi to get Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension road connectivity. Everyone will benefit from the new expressway.
Speaking at a public meeting on this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that these roads will make travel easier and will give a new impetus to the development of the NCR. He said that currently there is a BJP government around Delhi. This shows that we have the blessings of the people. Some criticized that they cannot bear this. They said that they are all away from the people.
The name of the expressway is Dwarka, the place where this program is being held is Rohini, Janmashtami is the joy, and coincidentally, Modi said that he came from the land of Dwarka. The national capital Delhi is witnessing a development revolution in the country. A short while ago, the Delhi-Dwarka Expressway, with its connection with the urban Extension Road, will increase the convenience of the people of Delhi, gurugram and NCR, everyone’s time will be saved. Our traders, businessmen and farmers will get special benefits. When the world looks at India, the first focus will be on our capital Delhi at the time of evaluation He called for us to make Delhi a model of development. He said that the work we have undertaken to make Delhi a great city is continuing continuously. He said that even today we are all witnesses to this, whether it is Dwarka Expressway or Urban Extension Road, these two roads have been built wonderfully.

After the Peripheral Expressway, now the Urban Extension Road will help Delhi a lot. He said that the Urban Extension road has another speciality. It will help in freeing Delhi from garbage. He said that lakhs of tons of garbage were used in the construction of the urban Extension Road, waste materials were used in the construction of the road, Prime Minister Modi said that he is happy that the Delhi BJP government led by Rekha Gupta is continuously engaged in the work of cleaning the Yamuna. During this, 16 lakh metric tons of garbage have been removed from the yamuna river. He said that 650 Devi electric buses have been started in Delhi in a very short time. He said that in the future, these electric buses will cross the number of about 2 thousand. it will further strengthen the mantra of Green Delhi – Clean Delhi. The project, which is the first eight-lane urban elevated expressway in the country, will ease travel between Delhi and Gurugram. The 10.1 km route was built at a cost of Rs. 5,360 crore. This route will connect yashobhumi, Delhi Metro Blue and Orange lines and the upcoming Bijwasan railway station.
The prime Minister inaugurated the 19 km Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway in march last year. The Delhi section has also recently become available. With this, it will be possible to travel from Gurugram to Delhi airport in just 20 minutes. The UER-II project, built at a cost of Rs. 5,580 crore, will serve as the third ring road for Delhi. It connects cities like Delhi, sonipat and bahadurgarh. It was built from Alipur to Dichaon Kalan. It is noteworthy that two million tonnes of waste collected from the ghazipur landfill was used for its construction. (Maxim News)
