PM Modi, Kishan Reddy Blocking BC Bill: CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Kishan Reddy are obstructing the BC BillFormer CM KCR brought a law in 2018 that reservations should not exceed 50 percent in Telangana. Revanth said that they brought an ordinance to remove that law.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the statue of Sarvai Papanna in front of the Secretariat. Later, he participated in the birth anniversary celebrations held at Ravindra Bharathi and spoke on this occasion. Revanth said that the BC reservation Bill has been pending with the president for six months. He said that the law is an obstacle if local bodies are to be organized by September 30. He said that a dharna was held in Delhi for the approval of the BC Reservation Bill. The CM was fired for saying that BJP leaders are being stubborn on BC reservations.

Revanth Reddy said that there are 56.33 percent people from backward classes in Telangana. He said that the weaker sections bill is pending with the President. Revanth said that there is no room for reservations on the basis of religion. He wants BCs to also be part of the state power. The CM wants to show if there are reservations on the basis of religion in the bill they have made.

CM Revanth Reddy said that Sardar Sarvai Papanna was a great fighter. Sarvai Papanna should be given proper recognition, which is going to be fulfilled today. Papanna’s statue is going to be an inspiration for the Telangana Empire. He said that he was the warrior who built the Bahujan Empire.  He criticized the previous government for giving Qila Shahpur Fort on a mining lease. He said that after coming to power, they have taken steps to preserve Qila Shahpur Fort.

CM Revanth Reddy claimed that Sonia Gandhi sacrificed her Prime Ministership so that India would be number one in the world. He said that the Gandhi family is the reason why India has become the third-largest economy. He said that if the Gandhi family gives a promise, it is a stone inscription. He said that they have kept their promise to give Telangana. Revanth said that they are implementing the promises made. Despite facing many obstacles, we have shown the caste census. He said that if there is any mistake in the work we have done, it should be shown to us. He said that the caste census was done after meeting and discussing with intellectuals many times.
